The World Arthrosis Organization is a non-profit organization. It is independent, and has as its goal to inform those afflicted with arthritis in the best possible and sound way. In Germany, the WAO works in collaboration with the Deutsche Arthrose-Hilfe e.V.

The WAO’s work is financed through:

Audit

Every year the WAO contracts a renowned international auditing company to examine its revenues, expenses, and bookkeeping. The lawfully designated use of all of WAO’s funds are certified in its current report for 2019.
